# Program Management Training for ECE Providers

## Program Management training develops the operational and leadership skills early childhood educators need to run a compliant, well‑organized childcare program — from staff supervision and documentation to regulatory compliance and team culture.

## What is Program Management training?

Program Management (CDA Competency Area V) covers the administrative, leadership, and operational skills needed to run an effective and compliant early childhood program. It addresses staff supervision and professional development, program policies and procedures, records management, licensing compliance, budgeting fundamentals, and building a cohesive team culture aligned with the program’s mission.

Training in this area addresses topics such as staff scheduling and supervision, maintaining required documentation and records, understanding and applying licensing requirements, health and safety compliance policies, and communicating effectively as a program leader.
