Sonshine School is a provider of early education and care for the students and families of Austin. As a center-based facility, Sonshine School provides the best of a school-like environment, which can help smooth the transition for students to formal school one day in the future, and the best of a community of student peers and professional staff to help inspire and support the learning journey. Centers like Sonshine School can benefit students with their resources, opportunities, and activities for enrichment and learning. Part-time care at Sonshine School similarly gives Austin children and parents the split days that can work out well for all parties! Students will accelerate their learning in an environment outside of their own home surrounding by peers, staff and stimulation. Parents can benefit from the hours apart to get things done. Part-time care can prepare students well for what’s next, too, by introducing them to the group setting without also adding long days. Students at Sonshine School will also receive a faith-based religious learning curriculum that sets students up for a life of love, belief and wonder. Students will participate in learning activities taught through the lens of the faith tradition and experience early the core joys of belief and the greater embrace of a community of believers. Parents will enjoy becoming a part of Sonshine School’s greater community of faith, as well, and forming relationships with others of similar faith.
