Daddy Mom Daycare is a center-based child care and early education facility serving the students and families of Denver! As a center, Daddy Mom Daycare provides a school-like learning and enrichment environment that gives students a taste of what they’ll experience at more formal school in the years to come. Students at Daddy Mom Daycare are provided the socialization opportunities that come with peers of similar ages, the enrichment opportunities that come with a center’s resources and structure, and the community that comes with experienced staff. Daddy Mom Daycare has a full-time schedule that promotes community for the students and families that attend. Students will have the opportunity to get to know the same peers and adults, every day, and learn together in a structured environment. With plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and try new activities, students will grow their cognitive and language skills as well as their sense of wonder at the world around them. Parents will see their children’s social and behavioral development grow in leaps and bounds! Students at Daddy Mom Daycare will also experience an arts-based curriculum that emphasizes how engagement with visual arts, dance, music and storytelling can develop the whole child. Children at an arts-based curriculum make with their hands, learn from staff and peers and take their creations from inception to finish. Through this engagement with the arts, students will develop a unique bend of social, emotional, motor and intellectual skills that will serve them well as they transition to more academic-based environments in the future.
