About Kitarah's Family Child Care Home

Play based learning curricula, determined by each child’s needs and their abilities regardless of socioeconomic status, race or creed. All children will be able to learn life long lessons through daily connecting their learning environment to real life. At our school, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.
