About Grand Oak Academy

Grand Oak Academy is a center-based early care and education program for the students and families of Houston. Attending centers like Grand Oak Academy can benefit students who’re ready for a school-like environment, rich in activities, resources and opportunities to learn and grow, but don’t want to sacrifice on the close relationships with peers and staff that you’d expect from any child care provider. Students at Grand Oak Academy join a community of learners that will explore, play and grow together. With a full-time schedule, Grand Oak Academy also can provide the care that Houston parents need. Full-time means that students get the best of repeated daily instruction with non-family adults and peers of similar ages. Students will see their development and learning skills grow quickly in an environment that’ll set them up well for the years ahead! Parents get the benefit, too, of enrolling their children in a learning community all the while having the large time blocks to spend at work or on other responsibilities. In addition, Grand Oak Academy offers a therapeutic program that seeks to create a supportive, inclusive environment for students that can struggle with their feelings and emotions. At Grand Oak Academy, students will learn problem-solving skills and new ways of processing what’s going on inside of them through structured activities and time with other students and staff. Students will benefit from a nurturing, understanding environment that engages the whole child and child’s entire caregiving community in seeking strong development outcomes.
