Great Expectations Learning Center can be an instrumental part of the learning journey for the students and families of Houston. Great Expectations Learning Center is a center-based early care and education program, and as a center provides that school-like environment that’s structured for students to learn, grow and thrive. This environment can help prepare students for the levels ahead and kindergarten. As a center, as well, Great Expectations Learning Center has the space and resources for activities, an enriching curriculum and plenty of peers of similar ages for students to learn and laugh with. The full-time schedule at Great Expectations Learning Center likewise gives parents who want their children to learn and grow as much as possible to do just that! The full-time schedule gives children the opportunity to form in-depth bonds with their classmates and the adults at Great Expectations Learning Center and the opportunity to feel a part of a real community outside of the home. Children will play, grow, laugh and learn day in, day out, and with a repeated, structured learning environment, they’ll be well set up for what’s ahead. Students at Great Expectations Learning Center also experience a Little Goose curriculum that teaches activities that introduce children to the everyday materials found in and around their daily environment. Little Goose drives children to discover and explore, without restraint, and teaches the love of learning through interacting with the world around them. Little Goose focuses on sensory experiences, like music, art and stories, and is designed to help prepare toddlers for their upcoming transition to preschool and more structure learning time.
