Irma Perrett is a home-based child care and education solution in the Houston area. With a family-like environment and the small, cozy feeling that comes from an in-home provider, Irma Perrett provides children and families a welcome transition from the home to the learning environment. Home-based education like at Irma Perrett can be attractive for the small group sizes and the comfort, familiarity and ease of adapting for children, especially those newer to spending significant time outside of the family home. Irma Perrett has a full-time schedule that promotes community for the students and families that attend. Students will have the opportunity to get to know the same peers and adults, every day, and learn together in a structured environment. With plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and try new activities, students will grow their cognitive and language skills as well as their sense of wonder at the world around them. Parents will see their children’s social and behavioral development grow in leaps and bounds! Irma Perrett also teaches a language immersion curriculum, fully immersing students in the learning of a foreign language in a natural way! Students at Irma Perrett will experience subjects, activities, exercises and play all in a foreign language, rather than a language being taught as a separate subject. Language immersion has been shown to be a fantastic method to help expand students’ horizons and inculcate language abilities at a time where students’ cognitive abilities are taking off.
