Kbc Headstart welcomes the students and families of Houston to its center-based early child care and education facility. As a center, Kbc Headstart resembles the best of what students will get in the years ahead in structured schooling while maintaining the close community and relationships that’re instrumental in early childhood development. Attending a center benefits students as students will spend their days in a structured, stable environment that hones spatial, vocabulary and other skills with enriching curriculums and activities. Likewise, a part-time schedule like the one at Kbc Headstart can be just what the doctor ordered for families. Students will benefit from learning in a setting with similarly-aged peers and all the social and behavioral development that comes with that. They’ll also form real bonds with non-family adults and the community that comes with seeing the same faces day in and day out! Parents will see students’ learning grow leaps and bounds, all the while not spending too much time away. In addition, Kbc Headstart takes a project-based educational approach that seeks to unlock the very best of student creativity and natural curiosity. A project-based curriculum focused on deep, in-depth instruction and exposure to a topical area and doesn’t rush the topic to conform to timelines or enforce limits on student interactivity. Students at Kbc Headstart will take risks, collaborate together and cooperatively solve challenges that arise during the course of their projects, instilling both a love of learning and a love of working together to achieve their goals.
