Little Leaders Academy welcomes the families of Houston with a center-based setting where students can learn, laugh, play and grow alongside peers of similar ages and non-family adults that specialize in developing the learning skills critical for the years ahead. Center-based environments like at Little Leaders Academy are popular choices with families that value a school-like environment and the socialization opportunities that come with a strong peer set! Little Leaders Academy has a part-time schedule, as well, perfect for parents that want the flexibility to be away from their little ones for awhile but don’t need a full-time day just yet. Students will get used to the structured learning environment, with all the peer play & social exploration that comes with that, but don’t yet need to adjust to long days away from parents. The part-time program at Little Leaders Academy sets students up for success in the years ahead. Little Leaders Academy likewise takes a play-based approach to children's development and learning, facilitating education through interactive, hands-on activities that get children moving. Play-based environments structure their spaces to encourage students to move with independence, passion and explore at their own direction. Staff in these environments encourage and galvanize students to lean into their interests and build their own worlds in cooperation with their peers, and students gain cooperative, social and emotional skills as a result of this community.
