Little Sprouts Academy offers early childhood care and education in a center-based facility in Houston. Part-time care at Little Sprouts Academy similarly gives Houston children and parents the split days that can work out well for all parties! Students will accelerate their learning in an environment outside of their own home surrounding by peers, staff and stimulation. Parents can benefit from the hours apart to get things done. Part-time care can prepare students well for what’s next, too, by introducing them to the group setting without also adding long days. In addition, Little Sprouts Academy takes a play-based approach to child development and education. Play-based curriculums emphasize students having the independence to explore their own interests at the time, be they creative, constructional, observational or artistic, and emphasize students being hands-on and natural with their activities. Staff at play-based curriculums take an active role in the discovery and learning process, encouraging students to dig in, explore, and cooperate with their peers to create the world around them.
