Parent Child Learning Lab is a center-based child care and early education facility serving the students and families of Houston! As a center, Parent Child Learning Lab provides a school-like learning and enrichment environment that gives students a taste of what they’ll experience at more formal school in the years to come. Students at Parent Child Learning Lab are provided the socialization opportunities that come with peers of similar ages, the enrichment opportunities that come with a center’s resources and structure, and the community that comes with experienced staff. A full-time schedule for young children can additionally help children develop the social, behavioral and language skills that’ll help them succeed in the years to come. Parent Child Learning Lab offers this schedule in a structured learning environment that’ll unlock the best that those precious early years have to offer. Children will play amongst peer of similar ages, learn from the same adults day in and day out, and explore the world around them. Parents will benefit from the community that comes with seeing the same faces every day, too! Parent Child Learning Lab likewise takes a play-based approach to children's development and learning, facilitating education through interactive, hands-on activities that get children moving. Play-based environments structure their spaces to encourage students to move with independence, passion and explore at their own direction. Staff in these environments encourage and galvanize students to lean into their interests and build their own worlds in cooperation with their peers, and students gain cooperative, social and emotional skills as a result of this community.
