Phuong Thi Tran is a home-based child care and education solution in the Houston area. With a family-like environment and the small, cozy feeling that comes from an in-home provider, Phuong Thi Tran provides children and families a welcome transition from the home to the learning environment. Home-based education like at Phuong Thi Tran can be attractive for the small group sizes and the comfort, familiarity and ease of adapting for children, especially those newer to spending significant time outside of the family home. Phuong Thi Tran also teaches a language immersion curriculum, fully immersing students in the learning of a foreign language in a natural way! Students at Phuong Thi Tran will experience subjects, activities, exercises and play all in a foreign language, rather than a language being taught as a separate subject. Language immersion has been shown to be a fantastic method to help expand students’ horizons and inculcate language abilities at a time where students’ cognitive abilities are taking off.
