As a pre-k, Purple Sage Elem Pre-K provides a structured, stable learning environment that replicates the best of the formal school years ahead and is hosted on the same campus where they may even be able to attend kindergarten once they graduate pre-k. The part-time schedule at Purple Sage Elem Pre-K gives parents the time to do what needs to be done at work and at home, yet also be around for those moments that matter. Students get the best with part-time care too - students get to explore, play and learn with other children in social groups without missing out on time with their parents too. Part-time care can help students get used to what’s ahead for them. In addition, Purple Sage Elem Pre-K takes a play-based approach to child development and education. Play-based curriculums emphasize students having the independence to explore their own interests at the time, be they creative, constructional, observational or artistic, and emphasize students being hands-on and natural with their activities. Staff at play-based curriculums take an active role in the discovery and learning process, encouraging students to dig in, explore, and cooperate with their peers to create the world around them.
