San Jacinto College North Children's Center can be an instrumental part of the learning journey for the students and families of Houston. San Jacinto College North Children's Center is a center-based early care and education program, and as a center provides that school-like environment that’s structured for students to learn, grow and thrive. This environment can help prepare students for the levels ahead and kindergarten. As a center, as well, San Jacinto College North Children's Center has the space and resources for activities, an enriching curriculum and plenty of peers of similar ages for students to learn and laugh with. In addition, if you’re looking for care at non-traditional hours for your child, San Jacinto College North Children's Center provides that 24-hour care that can cover you when you need to be away. 24-hour care is all about being open and available for parents who may be working early mornings, night shifts or long rotations and providing that comfortable environment for children to rest and flourish. San Jacinto College North Children's Center provides hours that work with your schedule and the understanding that comes with serving a community of hard-working, devoted parents that want the best for their children when they’re away. Students at San Jacinto College North Children's Center will also experience an arts-based curriculum that emphasizes how engagement with visual arts, dance, music and storytelling can develop the whole child. Children at an arts-based curriculum make with their hands, learn from staff and peers and take their creations from inception to finish. Through this engagement with the arts, students will develop a unique bend of social, emotional, motor and intellectual skills that will serve them well as they transition to more academic-based environments in the future.
