About The Forge For Families-Safezone
The Forge For Families-Safezone can be an instrumental part of the learning journey for the students and families of Houston. The Forge For Families-Safezone is a center-based early care and education program, and as a center provides that school-like environment that’s structured for students to learn, grow and thrive. This environment can help prepare students for the levels ahead and kindergarten. As a center, as well, The Forge For Families-Safezone has the space and resources for activities, an enriching curriculum and plenty of peers of similar ages for students to learn and laugh with. Parents in the Houston area can by the same token find a great fit with the part-time schedule at The Forge For Families-Safezone. Part-time gives children the opportunity to learn in a structured environment, out of the family home, with their peers and non-family adults, all the while parents can get things done. Part-time gives that flexibility, though, that families can crave when adjusting little ones to life outside the home, as parents don’t have to spend full days away from their young children. The Forge For Families-Safezone also offers a curriculum designed to develop the whole child through learning, arts, activities and even Gymboree play. Students at The Forge For Families-Safezone are encouraged to explore the world around them, seek out what motivates them to learn and express themselves through creativity and self-expression. Students will receive a complete educational experience with a large play component, as well, as physical exuberance, team and peer cooperation, appropriate risk-taking and overcoming challenges are keys to developing self-confidence and empathy.
