The Kim Nguyen serves the parents and families of Houston with a home-based care and learning program with small group sizes in a cozy setting. In-home is popular with parents for the ability to transition children comfortably from the hours at home to the hours in a learning environment. Children have the benefits of learning and playing alongside other children and will see their life skills develop! Houston parents also have the opportunity to enroll in a full-time schedule at The Kim Nguyen. The full-time schedule gives students the maximum opportunity to learn in a structured, professional environment, around adults they’ll form close bonds with and peers they'll learn, play and laugh with! The full-time schedule also allows parents to have those precious large, repeated blocks of time to work and get things done while their children are cared for in a learning environment. Students at The Kim Nguyen will also experience an arts-based curriculum that emphasizes how engagement with visual arts, dance, music and storytelling can develop the whole child. Children at an arts-based curriculum make with their hands, learn from staff and peers and take their creations from inception to finish. Through this engagement with the arts, students will develop a unique bend of social, emotional, motor and intellectual skills that will serve them well as they transition to more academic-based environments in the future.
