About City Terrace

City Terrace is a center-based early care and education program for the students and families of Los Angeles. Attending centers like City Terrace can benefit students who’re ready for a school-like environment, rich in activities, resources and opportunities to learn and grow, but don’t want to sacrifice on the close relationships with peers and staff that you’d expect from any child care provider. Students at City Terrace join a community of learners that will explore, play and grow together. City Terrace has a full-time schedule that promotes community for the students and families that attend. Students will have the opportunity to get to know the same peers and adults, every day, and learn together in a structured environment. With plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and try new activities, students will grow their cognitive and language skills as well as their sense of wonder at the world around them. Parents will see their children’s social and behavioral development grow in leaps and bounds! City Terrace also offers a technology curriculum that helps prepare students early for the twenty-first century. Students will experience hands-on technology activities that develop their creativity, initiative and natural curiosity, all through a lens of the tools and media that will only grow in importance in their lives in the years to come. Interacting with technology in a structured curriculum will also help students view technology as a medium through which to explore and discover rather than just a means to passively consume entertainment.
