Rising Stars Academy can be an instrumental part of the learning journey for the students and families of Los Angeles. Rising Stars Academy is a center-based early care and education program, and as a center provides that school-like environment that’s structured for students to learn, grow and thrive. This environment can help prepare students for the levels ahead and kindergarten. As a center, as well, Rising Stars Academy has the space and resources for activities, an enriching curriculum and plenty of peers of similar ages for students to learn and laugh with. With a full-time schedule, Rising Stars Academy also can provide the care that Los Angeles parents need. Full-time means that students get the best of repeated daily instruction with non-family adults and peers of similar ages. Students will see their development and learning skills grow quickly in an environment that’ll set them up well for the years ahead! Parents get the benefit, too, of enrolling their children in a learning community all the while having the large time blocks to spend at work or on other responsibilities. Rising Stars Academy additionally takes a play-based approach to children's development and learning, facilitating education through interactive, hands-on activities that get children moving. Play-based environments structure their spaces to encourage students to move with independence, passion and explore at their own direction. Staff in these environments encourage and galvanize students to lean into their interests and build their own worlds in cooperation with their peers, and students gain cooperative, social and emotional skills as a result of these communal activities.
