About Roots of Understanding Family Child Care

Welcome to Roots of Understanding Family Childcare. Since this will be your child's home away from home, I will strive to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating home-like environment for your child(ren). My goal here is to stimulate your child/children physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Growing up my mother was a childcare provider and I had always dreamed of having my own home childcare program. When my daughter was six years old, I decided to step out on faith and start my home childcare program.
