At Lynia's Little Learners, we take pride in creating a space where children can learn, grow, and thrive while feeling like an extension of our own family. We're dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching experience that sets the stage for a lifelong love of learning. Join our home-based child care, where your child's well-being and development are our top priorities. Some of our activities include: Arts & Crafts: Creativity knows no bounds in our Arts & Crafts corner. Children will have the opportunity to explore their artistic talents through a wide range of materials and techniques. From finger painting to making sculptures, we encourage self-expression and imaginative play. Circle Time: Circle Time is a time for building community and developing important social skills. It's a moment when children gather together to sing songs, share stories, and engage in group discussions. It fosters a sense of belonging and helps children develop their listening and communication skills. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math): Our STEM activities are designed to introduce children to the wonders of the world around them. Through hands-on experiments, puzzles, and games, children will explore the basics of science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, sparking their curiosity and problem-solving abilities. Outdoor Play: We believe in the importance of physical activity and fresh air. Our outdoor play area provides a safe and fun environment for children to run, jump, play games, and explore nature. It's a space where they can develop gross motor skills, build friendships, and appreciate the outdoors. Music & Movement: Music is a universal language, and we encourage children to express themselves through rhythm and dance. Our Music & Movement sessions introduce children to various musical instruments, songs, and dances, promoting coordination, rhythm, and self-confidence. Blocks & Puzzles: Building with blocks and solving puzzles enhances spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and critical thinking. Children will have access to a variety of building materials and puzzles to challenge their minds and foster creativity. Storytelling: Imagination comes to life during Storytelling sessions. Through storytelling, children can explore different cultures, emotions, and ideas. We encourage them to create their own stories and share them with their peers, promoting language development and creativity. Reading & Writing: Literacy is a fundamental skill, and we make it a priority. We offer age-appropriate books, writing materials, and activities that encourage children to explore letters, words, and storytelling. Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of reading and writing.
