About Creative Learning Preschool

Creative Learning Preschool has been our home away from home for over 13 years now. Jenny, attended CLP as a preschooler, and graduated in 2016. Ms. Pam has served on the Admin Team since 2013, while Mr. Jon pitched in creating logo & other graphics the school needs. Over the years, we have treasured our time getting to know the families of CLP, and look forward to meeting new families! Under the mentorship of Dan & Rachel for several years, the Melot’s took over ownership & day to day operations of CLP in 2022. Early Childhood Education is part of the family. Ms. Pam has served in Early Childhood schools for over 24 years, and Mr. Jon’s mom operated an In-Home childcare in CA, and now owns a preschool in Durango, CO. Our family has seen first hand the value and importance of early childhood education in our own experiences as parents of a preschool graduate, and observing others as well. We are entrusted to continue the legacy Dan & Rachel created at CLP, by fostering child/teacher/parent relationships, creating nurturing environments & cultivating child curiosity. CLP is rooted in an environment rich in experiences that focus on language development, academic centers, social/emotional development, fine/gross motor development, & artistic expression. Our teachers are the heart of our school, and truly create wonderful opportunities for our CLP kids to grow & learn.
