Catholic Social Services can be an instrumental part of the learning journey for the students and families of Philadelphia. Catholic Social Services is a center-based early care and education program, and as a center provides that school-like environment that’s structured for students to learn, grow and thrive. This environment can help prepare students for the levels ahead and kindergarten. As a center, as well, Catholic Social Services has the space and resources for activities, an enriching curriculum and plenty of peers of similar ages for students to learn and laugh with. The full-time schedule at Catholic Social Services likewise gives parents who want their children to learn and grow as much as possible to do just that! The full-time schedule gives children the opportunity to form in-depth bonds with their classmates and the adults at Catholic Social Services and the opportunity to feel a part of a real community outside of the home. Children will play, grow, laugh and learn day in, day out, and with a repeated, structured learning environment, they’ll be well set up for what’s ahead. Catholic Social Services also offers a religious curriculum emphasizing the love of learning through the lens of the faith tradition. Students at Catholic Social Services will learn early in life about faith traditions and the joy that comes from a life lived in communion with others. Early seeds of belief and faith will be planted through fun, joyful activities that illustrate what it means to be a part of the greater faith community. Parents will benefit, as well, from joining a community of like-minded parents and believers.
