Fun and learning ahead at Peaks Little Angels! Peaks Little Angels is an early care and education provider in Philadelphia that welcomes students and families to a center-based facility. As a center, Peaks Little Angels provides an environment that’s geared towards stability, structure and providing learning resources and opportunities for children to explore the sights and sounds of the world around them. Children will meet and form bonds with peers of like ages and benefit from quality instructions from experienced adults. Philadelphia parents also have the opportunity to enroll in a full-time schedule at Peaks Little Angels. The full-time schedule gives students the maximum opportunity to learn in a structured, professional environment, around adults they’ll form close bonds with and peers they'll learn, play and laugh with! The full-time schedule also allows parents to have those precious large, repeated blocks of time to work and get things done while their children are cared for in a learning environment. In addition, Peaks Little Angels teaches a mixed-age curriculum that facilities peer learning and communal growth. In a mixed-age classroom like at Peaks Little Angels, students receive open-ended, stimulating activities and are encouraged to move at their own pace. Younger students receive help and encouragement from older students, boosting their confidence and self-esteem, and older students get to lend a helping hand, teaching empathy and the joy of giving. Mixed-age learning replicates the best of a family or neighborhood group structure as children socialize with peers a little ahead or a little behind their own development path.
