About The Waldorf School of Philadelphia

The Waldorf School of Philadelphia, located in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, offers play-based Early Childhood programs that are developmentally appropriate for children ages 13 months to 6 years old. The Parent and Child Program welcomes children of ages between 13 months and 3.5 years, while the Nursery Program allows children of ages 2 and 3 years to develop at their own pace in small-class settings. The children in the Mixed-Age Program (ages 3-5 years) learn through the intentional curriculum that inspires creative expression. The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is a full member of AWSNA (the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (the Waldorf Association of Early Childhood in North America). The school is also accredited by the Middle States Association and a member of ADVIS, the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools.
